Ecocertification at Accor

Our hotels are committed to an external and independent certification process which certifies that our hotels meet a number of sustainable hotel criteria. These certifications, such as Green Key or Green Globe, are some of the most demanding and widely recognised standards on the market. In order to be awarded this certification, hotels must comply with a comprehensive set of specifications covering, in particular

• Sustainable management: implementation of a sustainable management system and a continuous improvement plan to progress towards an increasingly sustainable stay.
• Environmental concerns: reducing waste and eliminating single-use plastic from the customer experience.
• Social and economic concerns: active support for local development initiatives and participation in community life.
• Cultural heritage: helping to protect local heritage.

Much more than a hotel in Paris’ 16th arrondissement, Molitor is a multi-facetted haven that offers different wellness, sports, artisticand culinary experiences. Having the opportunity to spend some time here is to “go blue” in an iconic place known to Parisians since the Roaring Twenties. Inaugurated in 1929, Molitor was a temple of hedonism for 60 years.Under the patronage of the famous swimmer Johnny Weissmuller, it soon became the most sought-after pool in Paris and the stage for allthe extravagances of the Twenties. It is even here that the first Bikini was presented in 1946. A second life started for Molitor in 1989 when its doors were closed - street artists took over the building and it became the Mecca of the Parisian underground scene.
In 2014 Molitor opened a new chapter in its history and became what it is today, summed up by three key words: p o o l - a r t - l i f eEvent organization, accommodation, wellness, gastronomy… everything is possible at Molitor! Our teams also organize customized off-site experiences such as booking spaces at the Parc des Princes, or sporting events in the Bois de Boulogne or Roland Garros or visits to the Louis Vuitton Foundation, for example.Whether you are on your own, as a couple, with your family or with friends, in a group or at a team-building event, Molitor surprises, creates special memories and adjusts to your every rhythm and desire.

Molitor offers a total of 450 m² of fully equipped modular meeting rooms. They can accommodate up to 430 people. From 26 m² to 150 m², they can be adjusted to all configurations : banquet, theatre, class, U-shape, cabaret, etc.The «Sleeping Beauties» and «Forgotten Beauties» rooms have a view of the outdoor pool and a private terrace. They can accommodate10 to 20 people in boardroom format.In tribute to the two great men who made the history of Molitor, the architect Lucien Pollet and the gold medal swimmer Johnny Weissmuller, the lounges bearing their names can each accommodate up to 120 people. Measuring 129 m² and 154 m² respectively, they allow great flexibility in terms of size.The «La Manufacture» room has been designed as a street art gallery. It brings together 10 internationally renowned urban artists such asJacques Villeglé, Blek le Rat and Vhils. With a surface area of 135 m², it can accommodate up to 100 people in an environment with artistic vibrations. 
Team building activities In order to unite the members of a team, whatever their profile, Molitor has devised a wide range of activities based on Art and well-being.Guided tours of our artists’ booths, an escape game in search of Johnny Weissmuller’s gold medal, street art activities, graffiti classes bearingyour company logo or a likeness of your client, a meeting with an artist, a silk-screen printing workshop, etc. As well as a wide variety of sports activities: boxing classes, breathing workshops, fitness masterclasses, aquatic classes, yoga paddle, water polo, etc.
